Why do dogs feel the need to bork so fiercely when the doorbell rings? We know that by barking a lot they try to say something along the lines of “That’s my house! These hoomans are my family! Bork away, invader! This home is under doggo protection!”, and we appreciate this sentiment, really, dogs are the best, just… It usually gives “Someone’s home”, but we would like to give some “No one’s home leave us alone forever” kind of vibe, and a dog borking like their lives depend on it isn’t helping in achieving it.
But at least we have dog memes to compensate for this anti-millennial situation. Instead of going to the door and opening it for any hooman who stands there (shoo, go away, leave) – we can all open our phones and see these happy little pixel doggos who are full of comedy and happiness. Dog memes are the funniest, and they can definitely help us as a distraction from anyone ringing the doorbell (why would you ever? just don’t).
