General Hospital comings and goings confirm Nikolas Cassadine is back and about to wreak havoc on his family.
Also, a legacy character returns this week, and a recast shakes things up on GH. Stay up-to-date with the latest casting changes for the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Comings & Goings: Nikolas Cassadine Returns
GH casting updates put Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) back on the scene after a brief absence. Recently, it was revealed that the dark prince is out of his coma and recovering in Pautuck. Also, more of his agenda was revealed. Nikolas needs to ensure that his family knows he’s alive.
If not, his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), will inherit everything he has, including Wyndemere and all of Spoon Island. Furthermore, it’s clear that he still resents his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West), on General Hospital.
He also knows that his mother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), is searching for him in Europe. So, that’s where he went to make sure she knows he is very much alive. However, he wants to avoid coming face-to-face with her.
But it seems he’s going to end up back in Port Charles soon. Laura needs to go home to help her granddaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Plus, it looks like Nik’s uncle, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), just had Ava kidnapped on General Hospital.
And, of course, Nik wants to call the shots when it comes to Ava. So he may head back home soon to confront Cyrus. And Ava could soon get the shock of her life when she sees that Nik’s alive.
GH Casting News: Lois Cerullo Back!
More General Hospital casting updates see Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) back in town next week. Her ex-husband, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), thinks he’s his rock star alter-ego, Eddie Maine, from back in the day. Fans will recall that that’s when Lois and Eddie were together and going strong.
So, it’s only fitting that Lois would return for Ned’s identity crisis. No doubt, she will be concerned for their daughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) because Ned doesn’t remember her — or anyone else. However, Lois’s presence may not help Eddie remember who he is.
Once he sees Lois, their old life together may come flooding back to him, and he may want to rekindle their old flame. If so, it will crush Ned’s current wife, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). No doubt, Lois’s return will crank up the drama for the Q family.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Another Molly Lansing Recast
Also, the role of Molly Lansing has been recast yet again, this time with actress Kristen Vaganos. Indeed, GH had a hard time finding the right replacement for long-time Molly actress Haley Pullos.
Currently, Haley is in legal trouble for her recent felony DUI. So, it appears she is out as Molly, at least for the foreseeable future. The last Molly recast, Brooke Anne Smith, didn’t sit well with many General Hospital fans.
Perhaps, that’s why there’s a new actress on the canvas. Also, musician Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) is back on, and she is BLQ’s first client. Furthermore, she might have a storyline coming up with Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi).
Plus, Willow Tait‘s (Katelyn MacMullen) crazy adoptive mama, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), recently made an appearance in Willow’s dream. The twists and turns keep coming on GH. Don’t miss a minute to see Nikolas Cassadine shake things up for his family on the ABC sudser.
