You know how the saying goes, friends: beggars can’t be choosers. You can’t inconvenience someone and then be picky about the way they help you – not only is it not polite, it’s just silly. We were in a ruff place a few years ago, and we actually had to move in with our sister. She welcomed us with open arms, even though she lived in a tiny apartment and we slept in her “living room” which was also connected to the kitchen and entry way. We didn’t complain. In fact, we did everything we could to make our burden on her lighter.
Well, not everyone thinks the way we do, appawrently. When one new mom moved in with her brother and her new baby, all she had were complaints about his “dirty” dog. She asked him to keep the dog locked in a room while the baby was out, which is ridiculous as golden retrievers are actually amazing with babies.
